A Northern Kentucky chef is gearing up to open his third restaurant since 2020. Chef Jeremy Faeth, founder of the Cedar Culinary Group, is opening a diner called Pike Street at 9 W. Pike St. in Covington, with the goal of opening April 4. It is his third Covington project, behind Cedar, which opened in July 2020, and Yuca, which opened October 2021. Faeth told me that he's going for a modern diner feel with Pike Street, and the food will be familiar to that setting with dishes like apple pie-stuffed waffles and French toast, but with a twist.
