CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Reds vice president, general manager Nick Krall today announced the signing of Covington Catholic High School graduate catch Luke Maile to a 1-year contract through the 2023 season. Maile, 31, originally was signed out of the University of Kentucky by the Tampa Bay Rays after he was selected in the eighth round of the June 2012 first-year player draft. He made his Major League debut in 2015 and has made 307 career appearances for the Rays, Blue Jays, Brewers and Guardians.
