Covington Catholic High School announced that 1963 graduate Ken Williams and his wife Kate (Notre Dame Academy Class of 1964), as well as the Kenny and Brian Williams Fund , are the 2023 recipients of the Northern Kentuckian of the Year Award. The fund was started in 2002 in memory of Kenny, who died from injuries after a fall, and Brian, who died in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks. Kenny graduated from CCH in 1986 and was a co-captain on the football team as a senior. Brian was a three-sport star at CCH, winning two state championships in football and a silver medal in discus.
