A new travel piece in the New York Times shines a spotlight on the oft-overlooked bourbon industry of Northern Kentucky. The Times on Oct. 10 published a piece titled " Savoring bourbon, and its stories history, in Northern Kentucky," in which writer Liza Weisstuch parked herself in Covington to immerse herself in the region's bourbon heritage. She chose that city because of its centrality to the B-Line, an initiative of MeetNKY | Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau launched in 2017, meant to promote bourbon tourism to the region and position Northern Kentucky as the entree to the commonwealth's Bourbon Trail.
